Here's how it works:
We have partnered with AFLAC to offer employees a 10-year Term Life insurance, Whole Life or a combination of both to provide the level of coverage you need. You can apply for coverage up to $100,000 ($50,000 for applicants over age 50). The health questions on your application for coverage do not require a medical exam or blood test. Optional riders are also available on spouse and children. Because this is an individual life insurance policy, it can be yours to keep even if you change jobs. The cost:
You pay the cost through convenient payroll deductions with after-tax dollars. The cost is based on your age and the coverage amount you choose. Please keep in mind that IES employees are located in many states; therefore, plans and rates may vary from state to state.
Eligibility/Enrollment:
To become eligible to enroll you must first have at least 90 days of employment with IES and work a minimum of 30 hours per week. To receive a customized quote, you will need to complete this brief questionnaire.
