SAN DIEGO, Ca. - August 4, 2005 - Innovative Employee Solutions (IES), a nationwide provider of outsourced payroll and human resources administration services, has been ranked San Diego's top women-owned business by the San Diego Business Journal for the second year in a row. This recognition is based on 2004 annual revenues.
IES, formerly TOPS Staffing, was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1956 and expanded to San Diego in 1974. In 1998, TOPS' temporary staffing division was sold in order to specialize in payrolling services and the company became Innovative Employee Solutions. Today IES is leveraging their knowledge into related areas offering diversified services including payroll processing, HR administrative services, and recruiter support solutions. The company has grown steadily over the years and in the past three years alone has grown 37%.
